How to Upload Video Ads

Video advertising is a dynamic way to capture your audience's attention. Follow these steps to upload your video ads while ensuring they meet the necessary specifications for optimal performance.


Step 1: Choose Creative Asset Type

Begin by selecting “Video” as your creative asset. Click "Next" to proceed.


Step 2: Meet Technical Requirements

Ensure your video complies with these technical specifications:

  • Maximum File Size: 10MB
  • Minimum Bit Rate: 2500 kbps
  • Minimum Size: 1280×720 pixels
  • Supported Formats: MOV, MP4, OGG, QuickTime (QT), WebM

Step 3: Upload Your Video

Click "Upload" to add your video. Upload one video at a time to ensure smooth processing.


Step 4: Naming Your Creative

Your video’s filename will be used as the creative name. Use a clear, descriptive naming convention for easier identification in reports.


Step 5: Video Length Selection

Select the length of your video: 15s, 30s, or 60s. Choose the closest option if the length varies slightly.


Step 6: Landing Page URL

Input the URL of your landing page, ensuring it begins with "https://" for security purposes.


Optional: Third-Party Tracking Pixel

To enhance your video ad’s performance monitoring, you can add third-party tracking pixel using VAST (Video Ad Serving Template) ad tags. VAST tags allow for the tracking of multiple video-related events, providing deep insights into user interaction with your video ads. Supported events include:

  • Impression: Triggered when the video ad is loaded.
  • Click: When a user clicks on the video ad.
  • Start: Triggered when the video ad starts playing.
  • First Quartile: When 25% of the video is viewed.
  • Midpoint: When 50% is viewed.
  • Third Quartile: When 75% is viewed.
  • Completion: When the full video ad is viewed.
  • Skip: Triggered when the user skips the ad (if applicable).
  • Error: Fired when an issue prevents the video ad from playing.
  • Mute/Unmute: When the user mutes or unmutes the video ad.
  • Pause: When the user pauses the ad.
  • Player Expand: Triggered when the video player is expanded.

Step 7: Finalize Upload

Review all details and click "Upload" to submit your video ad.


If your ad targets Connected TV (CTV) viewers, ensure it meets the following specifications:

  • Media Type: MP4
  • Bit Rate: Minimum 2,000 kbps
  • Resolution: Minimum 1280×720 (720p)
  • Duration: 15 or 30 seconds
